These are hard days. We hope you have found some company. We hope you have eaten and had water to drink and found beauty on this miraculous planet. It is ok to take time to absorb the shock and grieve, even if you are not surprised, and even if you had been hopeful. The systems of this country have been collapsing, and this will make it happen fast. It will be hard on people we love.
We have tools and resources, and we have each other. Our connections are a power that authoritarianism doesn’t understand. We are acting for each other, with each other: self possessed and interwoven. Y’all - this is a secret power that we have. Let's gather it up.
