Our May call will be focused on our organizing work around regional grid operator ISO-NE. It will be a great time to catch up on the results of our latest public comment period opposing ISO’s funding of fossil fuels power plants, as well as our ongoing dealings with NEPOOL (the exclusive industry council that dictates ISO’s policies.) We will also touch on our ratepayer-powered demand response project. Most of all, we want to take the time to celebrate our ongoing organizing work surrounding ISO’s Consumer Liaison Group.
This call will be only a few days before the June Consumer Liaison Group meeting, which is taking place in Holyoke Mass. This CLG meeting is especially important because of ISO’s continued determination to stifle ratepayer voices. In response, we are planning to pack the room (You can read more about their efforts and our response here).
